The A.M.Gorki Memorial in Arzamas.
It was opened in 1982. In this house the writer was living with his family from May to September in 1902 when he was in the exile under the police's surveillance. The museum is in the historical town's center in the old merchant's house of the Podsosovs. Here A.M. Gorky finished the play "At the bottom". The memorial furniture was reconstructed in the house: Gorky's study, a dining room, E.P. Peshkov's room.
